Chapter 9 Notes — Warning system
HOME screen
An error has occurred in one of the SD card during
simultaneous recording.
It has tried to record exceeding the maximum
number of clips to one of the SD card during
simultaneous recording.
The fan has stopped.
The card cannot be recognized properly because a
recording medium which is not supported has been
inserted or there is dirt on the terminal of the card.
The SD card with management information that is
out of specification is inserted.
(Include when the system frequency (59.94 Hz
system or 50 Hz system) for the AVCHD format
in the SD card is different from the setting in the
[SYSTEM SETTINGS] menu → [SYSTEM MODE]
→ [FREQUENCY])
The SDHC memory card that cannot record the
MOV format data is inserted when [MAIN CODEC]
is set to MOV format.
The SD card that may not be able to record due to
slow writing speed is inserted.
Voltage lowering of the backup battery for internal
clock was detected when the power is set to <l>
(ON).

Behavior and cause
A message is displayed for approximately five
seconds.
f Recording to the other SD card will continue.
A message is displayed for approximately five
seconds.
f Recording to the other SD card will continue.
f When [DIAGNOSTICS] is selected in the INFO
screen, [SIMUL REC WARNING] [<OVER MAX
NUM. OF CLIPS>] is displayed in the warning
display area.
f Replace the SD card or delete unnecessary clips.
A message is displayed.
f The current operation will continue.
f Stop the use immediately when the fan has
stopped, and consult the dealer.
f If the fan has stopped, temperature of the camera
will rise. Therefore, do not use the camera for a
long period of time.
A message is displayed for approximately five
seconds.
f Check the card that is inserted.
A message is displayed for approximately five
seconds.
f Insert an SD card that can be recorded.
f The system frequency information for the AVCHD
format is confirmed at the time of formatting or at
the first recording.

f Use an SD card with sufficient writing speed.
