NOTE
t The display of level gauge cannot be recorded.
t The level gauge is not displayed when the enlarged display function of the focus assist function is enabled, or when displaying the color bars.
t The level gauge may not display correctly while moving the camera.
t The level gauge may not display correctly when shooting with the camera inclined excessively upward or downward.
t Displays/hides of the level gauge can be switched by pressing the USER button assigned with [LEVEL GAUGE].
t Current horizontal and vertical direction can be set as the reference value of the level gauge by pressing the USER button assigned with [LEVEL
GAUGE RESET]. To restore the set value, set with the [OUTPUT SETTINGS] menu → [LCD LEVEL GAUGE] → [LEVEL GAUGE RESET].

Color bars

Color bars can be displayed. This is useful for image quality adjustment of a TV or an external monitor.
r Assigning [COLOR BARS] to the USER button
Set this function so that the color bars can be displayed/hidden with an arbitrary USER button.

Select the [SYSTEM SETTINGS] menu → [USER SWITCHES] → [USER1] to [USER9] → [COLOR BARS].
f [COLOR BARS] is assigned to the <USER 5> button as a factory setting.
r Displaying the color bars

Press the USER button that [COLOR BARS] is assigned.
Press the USER button again to return to the normal display.
Setting the type of color bars

From the [OUTPUT SETTINGS] menu → [COLOR BARS] → [COLOR BARS TYPE], select type of color bars.
f The type of color bars can be selected from [SMPTE] or [FULL].

t A smear may occur depending on the output resolution.
Setting the audio test signal output
Sets if the audio test signal (tone signal of rating level 1 kHz) can be output or not when the color bars are displayed.

Select the [OUTPUT SETTINGS] menu → [COLOR BARS] → [TEST TONE] → [ON].
