Conditions of front air bags may inflate

Receiving a strong impact to the lower
body of your vehicle, the front air bags may
inflate.
EXAMPLE
• Hitting a curb or medial strip.
EXAMPLE
• Falling into a deep hole or ditch.
• Landing hard or falling.

Front air bags may not inflate

The front air bags may not inflate when a
strong impact has not occurred since the
crash object was easy to be deformed or
moved, or the crashed portion of your vehi-
cle was easy to be deformed.
Also, front air bags may not inflate in many
cases when the crash angle is greater than
about 30 degrees at left and right angles
from the front of your vehicle.
