Glove Box Light (if equipped) (1)
Refer to "Glove Box" in this section.
Footwell Lights (if equipped) (2)
A footwell light is provided in the leg space
in front of each front seat. When any door
(including the tailgate) is open, the footwell
lights on both sides light automatically.
NOTE:
You can change the footwell lights opera-
tion via the information display. Refer to
"Information Display" in the "BEFORE
DRIVING" section.

Instrument Panel Pocket Light

This light comes on when the position
lights, tail light and/or the headlights are
on.
Front (without overhead console) (4)

Push the switch to turn on the light and
push it again to turn off the light.

These light switches have three or four
positions with function as described below:
OTHER CONTROLS AND EQUIPMENT
ON (a)
• The light comes on and stays on regard-
less of whether the door is open or
closed.
• To save the battery from discharging, the
light will be automatically turned off
when a period of 15 minutes has
elapsed after the light is on and other
features are not done.
DOOR (b)
• The light comes on while any of the
doors is opened. After closing all doors,
the light will remain on for about 15 sec-
onds and then fade out.
• If all doors are closed, the light comes on
for about 15 seconds when the ignition
key is pulled out from the ignition switch
or the engine switch is pressed to
change the ignition mode from "ON" to
"LOCK" (OFF). After 15 seconds, the
light will fade out.
• To save the battery, the light will be auto-
matically turned off when a period of 15
minutes has elapsed after any of the
doors is opened and other operations
are not done.
If you perform any of the following proce-
dures before the light fading out, the light
will start to fade out immediately.
• Inserting the ignition key into the ignition
switch or pressing the engine switch to
change the ignition mode to "ACC" or
"ON".
• Locking all doors by operating the key,
keyless entry transmitter, keyless push
