For international users, there are several features and devices that
warrant special attention. These are described below.
For the Power Fail Transfer (PFT) feature, the first connector on the line
card is available for power-fail situations only in North America.
CAUTION: Verify that you have access to a mobile or analog telephone,
connected to your standard PSTN, in case of power failure.
The Single-Port Analog Terminal Adapter may require a telephone
connector for use outside North America. The part number is
3C10120-xx, where xx is the country code. Contact your supplier for
more information on country-specific requirements.
The adapter (3C10125-xx) on the power line kit is provided with the
relevant pins for the country of use.
If your local language is not provided in the Voice Prompts, you may want
to re-record your Automated Attendant's main menu and system-wide
Time-dependent greetings. For information on how to modify an
Automated Attendant, see Configuring the Automated Attendant and
Voice Messaging chapter in the Administrator's Guide.
You can choose the language that you wish to use on the system. This
sets the system voice prompts, tones and cadences to the language of
your choice, and allows you to access some online user documentation in
that language from the NetSet interface. See the Administrator's Guide
for more details.
