The following devices can connect to an NBX 100:
Music-on-hold device, such as a radio, tape player, disk player, or

computer sound card, equipped with a line out (600 ohm) connection
can be connected directly into the call processor module to provide
audio for callers waiting on hold
Third-party 10BASE-T Ethernet hubs/switches

If you are connecting third-party routers or switches to the NBX 100, be
sure that the 10BASE-T connection is programmed for 10-BASE-T
half-duplex operation.
Multiple NBX 100 hub cards within the NBX 100 chassis, or you can
I
use the BNC or 10BT Uplink connector on a hub card or on the
Network Call Processor to connect to a 10BASE-T compliant hub.
ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) router, Frame Relay Access
I
Device (FRAD) router, Voice Over IP gateway.
You can access NBX 100 located at branch offices through a wide area
I
network (WAN). Before using the NBX 100 for voice over the WAN,
you should make sure that the WAN offers adequate bandwidth, and
that the gateways can be configured to provide the correct routing
information.
External paging amplifier. The NBX 100 Network Call Processor
I
includes an RJ11 jack to connect an externally powered paging
amplifier.
Standard telephone for power-fail situations. You can connect a
I
standard POTS (2500-series compatible) telephone to an RJ11
connector on the front of an NBX 100 4-Port Line Card.
The NBX 100 accommodates any combination of 200 devices. "Devices"
