Defining transfer criteria for the log file

To define transfer criteria for log transfer, use the following CLI command:
config bootconfig logfile <minsize> <maxsize>
<maxcopyPercentage>
Table 7
config bootconfig logfile
followed by:
<minsize>
<maxsize>
<maxoccupyPercentage>
Configuration example
This configuration example uses the commands listed in Table 7, "Transfer
criteria for log transfer," on page 29 to specify a minimum SMP log file size of
200 KB, a maximum log file size of 1024 KB, and the percentage of free space on
the PCMCIA that can be used for the log file (90%).
config bootconfig logfile 200 1024 90
Although the transfer criteria parameters are stored in the boot config file, you can
change them at any time without rebooting the system. Changes made to these
parameters take effect immediately.
Transfer criteria for log transfer
Minimum size of the log file in KB. The range is from 64
to 500 KB.
Maximum size of the log file in KB. The range is from
500 to 16384 KB.
Percentage of free PCMCIA that can be used for the log
file. The range is from 10 to 90.
