Click Update to make the change.
EXAMPLE: Configuring SNMP

Click SNMP to activate the SNMP tabs.

On the Settings tab, type the default community, contact information, and
location information in the appropriate text boxes. If you have set up an access list
for SNMP, type the access list number in the Access List Id text box. Click Update
after changing the value in each field and selecting the Enabled check box.

Click the Trap tab.

Click Add Trap Host to specify a host to which to send trapping messages. The
Add Trap Host window opens.

Type the host's IP address into the IP Address text box. If you wish the trap
messages to be sent to a host other than a default community, enter the
community name in the Community text box. Select the desired version of SNMP
from the SNMP Version list box.

Click OK to add the trap host or Cancel to close the window without adding the
host.

Set the desired traps by selecting the Enable option buttons and typing
appropriate values in the Threshold/Hysteresis Low and Hysteresis High text
boxes. If you wish to use only one trap point, enter a value only in the Threshold/
Hysteresis Low text box.

Click Update to set the configuration.

Click the Settings tab.

SSL Configuration Examples

The following examples demonstrate how to set up SSL configurations for the appliance.
If necessary, refer to Chapter 3 SSL Introduction for information on how the
SonicWALL SSL appliance works with SSL protocol information.
EXAMPLE: Setting up a Secure Server
In this example, the default SSL port (443) and remote port 81 are used. The user-specified
key name is myKey , the certificate name is myCert , and the secure server name is
myServer . The pre-loaded strong security policy is used.
The first step is to load a key to assign to the secure server. In this example, a key is pasted
into the GUI.
