Load Balanced
SonicWALL SSL appliances can be installed in front of or behind a load balancer. If the load
balancer is using URL- or cookie-related load balancing, install the appliance in front of the
load balancer. In this configuration, the load balancer receives clear text packets decrypted
by the SSL device.

Install the appliance as instructed previously.

Connect the "Network" Ethernet interface to the Internet. Connect the "Server"
Ethernet interface to the load balancer.
