Special cases: a time-out, pause, or error occurs
Case
'User A' has submitted a
job. A time-out or logout
occurs.
'User A' has submitted a
batch of jobs. A time-out or
logout occurs before the
end of the printing process.
'User B' submits a job.
The processing time for a
big job is longer than the
session time-out.
The processing time for a
batch of jobs is longer than
the session time-out.
The queue is paused
Case
A user has submitted a batch
of jobs. The user pauses the
queue.
'User A' has submitted a batch
of jobs. A time-out occurs or
the user log out before the
end of the printing process.
'User B' logs in on the system
panel and pauses the queue.

Status of the jobs
There is at least one job in
'Printing' state, in the job
queue.
• There is at least one job
of 'User A' in 'Printing'
state.
• When 'User B' logs in on
the system panel he can
see:
- the jobs of 'User A' that
are in 'Ready to print'
state.
- the jobs he submitted.
The time-out occurs before
the job is processed.
The job does not reach the
'Printing' status.
The time-out occurs before
all the jobs are processed.
At least one job is printing.
Status of the jobs
The jobs in 'Printing' status
are printed.
All the other jobs are put on
hold.
The job in 'Printing' status is
printed.
All the other jobs of 'User A'
are put on hold and disappear
from the queue view.
When the session time-out or log
out occurs
The job in 'printing' and in 'Ready to
print' statuses are printed.
All the jobs that have another status
(for example: 'Processing') are put
on hold. The user must log in and
tap 'Resume' to print the pending
jobs.
The jobs of 'User A' in 'Ready to
print' status are printed.
The jobs of 'User B' are printed.
The user is automatically logged out.
The job is not printed. The job is put
on hold.
It is recommended to increase the
user session time-out.
The user is automatically logged out.
Only the jobs in 'Ready to print' and
'Printing' statuses are printed.
All the jobs that have another status
(for example: 'Processing') are put
on hold. The user must log in and
tap 'Resume' to print the pending
jobs.
What to do
The user logs in (when nee-
ded) and resumes the queue
to print the remaining jobs.
'User A' must log in to see his
jobs on hold and resume the
queue.
