Possible cause(s)
No domain defined
The domain entered is not correct. Check the syntax of the domain
The LDAP server is not recog-
nized.
The combination of user name
and password is not correct.
The suffix for the User Principal
Name (UPN) is not correct.
Additional test: Authenticate on
the user panel. If the authentica-
tion fails and a 'Invalid creden-
tials' message is displayed then:
The date and/or time set in the
system is not correct.
The authenticated user has no ac-
cess to the LDAP lookup account.
The LDAP search filter is not cor-
rect.
The LDAP search base is not cor-
rect.
Actions
Define at least one domain in Océ
Express WebTools. Go to the 'Se-
curity' - 'Domains' page)
name.
Correct the domain name in Océ
Express WebTools ('Security' -
'Domains' - 'Fully Qualified Do-
main Name')
Check the LDAP server in the
DNS.
If needed, declare the LDAP serv-
er. Enter the LDAP server and
LDAP port explicitly in Océ Ex-
press WebTools (in 'Security' -
'Domains' - ' Advanced').
Check the user name and pass-
word.
Check the Fully Qualified Domain
Name (FQDN).
In Océ Express WebTools correct
the 'Current date and time' in
'Preferences' - 'System defaults' -
Regional settings'.
In Océ Express WebTools check
the LDAP lookup account in 'Se-
curity' - 'Domains' - ' Advanced'.
In Océ Express WebTools check
the LDAP search filter in 'Security'
- 'Domains' - ' Advanced'.
In Océ Express WebTools check
the LDAP search base in 'Security'
- 'Domains' - ' Advanced'.
