Possible cause
The power of the drive is too
high.
A malfunction in the start
angle identification. A
generic motor control fault.
The safe Off signal A does
not let you to set the drive to
the READY state.
The safe Off signal B does
not let you to set the drive to
the READY state.
The safety configuration
switch was installed.
There are too many STO
option boards. It is possible
to have only 1.
The STO option board was
installed in an incorrect slot.
There is no safety configura-
tion switch on the control
board.
The safety configuration
switch was installed incor-
rectly on the control board.
The safety configuration
switch was installed incor-
rectly on the STO option
board.
There is no communication
with the STO option board.
The STO option board is not
compatible with the hard-
ware.

How to correct the fault
Decrease the load.
Reset the fault and restart the
drive. Do a check of the signals
from the control board to the
power unit and the D connector.
Remove the safety configuration
switch from the control board.
Keep 1 of the STO option boards.
Remove the others. See the safety
manual.
Put the STO option board into the
correct slot. See the safety man-
ual.
Install the safety configuration
switch on the control board. See
the safety manual.
Install the safety configuration
switch into the correct position on
the control board. See the safety
manual.
Do a check of the installation of the
safety configuration switch on the
STO option board. See the safety
manual.
Do a check of the installation of the
STO option board. See the safety
manual.
Reset the drive and restart it. If the
fault occurs again, ask instructions
from your nearest distributor.
