Possible cause
There is no communication
between the control board
and the power.
Watchdog has reset the
CPU.
The voltage of auxiliary
power in the power unit is
too low.
Phase fault: Output phase
voltage does not agree to
the reference.
Fault in CPLD, but there is
no detailed information
about the fault.
The software of the control
unit is not compatible with
the software of the power
unit.
The software version cannot
be read. There is no soft-
ware in the power unit.
A CPU overload. A part of
the software (for example
application) has caused an
overload situation.
Access to the memory is
failed. For example, the
retain variables could not be
restored.
Necessary device properties
cannot be read.
Software error.
Invalid function block is
used in the application. The
system software is not com-
patible with the application.
A resource overload. A
parameter loading, restor-
ing or saving malfunction.

How to correct the fault
Reset the fault and restart the
drive. If the fault occurs again, ask
instructions from the distributor
near to you.
Download the latest software from
the Vacon website. Update the
drive with it. If the fault occurs
again, ask instructions from the
distributor near to you.
Update the power unit software. If
the fault occurs again, ask instruc-
tions from the distributor near to
you.
Reset the fault and restart. If the
fault occurs again, ask instructions
from the distributor near to you.
