Operator Procedures
Overview
The procedures in this section are normally available to everyone who operates the
Panasonic 5000 Series workstations. This includes cashiers, servers, bartenders,
supervisors, and everyone who registers customer transactions.
All of the procedures in this section are performed with the keylock in REG Mode, unless
otherwise noted. Most procedures involve a particular key on your workstation keyboard.
At times, you must enter a number (price, amount, etc.) before you press a key. In the
procedure descriptions, numeric entries are indicated with brackets ( [ ] ). Keys normally
included on your keyboard are indicated in boxes, as shown in the example below.

[ table # ]

In this example, the brackets indicate that you use the number keys to enter the table
number. After you enter the number, press the TABLE # key to register your entry.
Within the descriptions, references to keys you press are indicated by UPPER CASE type.
