Spectrophotometer Systems
You must install and configure the software.
Agilent Cary 8454 UV-Visible Spectroscopy System Installation Guide
Ensure you have space and an appropriate power supply.

Unpack the system - check for damage and contents against packing list.
For more information, see "Unpacking Your Spectrophotometer" on

Install your UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
• Connect the line power to the rear.
• Connect the waste tubing underneath the sample pan.

If your computer and printer are not supplied by Agilent, ensure that the
requirements for proper operation of the software are met.

Connect the computer to the spectrophotometer with the LAN cable.
