The Front Panel Indicators

Normal Conditions
The front panel indicators show the status of the StorPoint NAS. The
indicators have the following functions:
Status - Flashes during startup. When the StorPoint NAS is ready
for use, the light turns solid green.
SCSI - Flashes to indicate activity on the SCSI bus.
Network - Flashes to indicate the presence of network traffic.
Power - Indicates that power is connected to the StorPoint NAS.
This LED should always remain lit and is only used to indicate
power is present in the StorPoint NAS unit.
The Power LED is controlled by hardware and is always green when
power is connected. When the system starts running after startup, the
Status LED turns solid green. The SCSI and Network LEDs are turned
off.
This table shows the other front panel indicators under normal
conditions:
Event
Initial power to unit.
Power-up and self-test,
approx. 30 seconds.
Firmware preparation
Firmware startup.
Startup sequence OK.
Normal operation.
Writing to the SCSI disk.
Reading from the SCSI disk.
100 Mbit packet arrived.
10 Mbit packet arrived.
Flash loading in progress.
* Flashing, short interval.
** Flashing, long interval.
