Familiarize yourself with your StorPoint NAS. This information
provides a useful reference during the installation.

Cat 5 cable
The StorPoint NAS is equipped with a 100baseTX connector. The
internal network connector will automatically adjust to 10baseT or
100baseTX, full or half duplex mode. Use a Category 5 UTP cable for
the 100baseTX operation.
❏ When the StorPoint NAS has been installed in a tower, the network
connector is found on the network connection board that appears
at the back of the tower. Note that the network cable cannot be
connected directly to the server unit.
