Description
Use the ftp client source command to configure the source address of the transmitted
FTP packets from the FTP client.
Use the undo ftp client source command to restore the default.
By default, an AC uses the IP address of the interface determined by the matched
route as the source IP address to communicate with an FTP server.
The source address can be specified as the source interface and the source IP
address. If you use the ftp client source command to specify the source interface
and then the source IP address, the newly specified source IP address overwrites
the configured source interface and vice versa.
If the source address is specified with the ftp client source command and then with
the ftp command, the source address specified with the latter one is used to
communicate with the FTP server.
The source address specified with the ftp client source command is valid for all FTP
connections and the source address specified with the ftp command is valid only
for the current FTP connection.
Related commands: display ftp client configuration.
