6.1 Remote control of the control system
Keyboard operation
● Press F1 to F8 on the keyboard to operate the horizontal softkeys.
● Press Shift+F1 to Shift+F8 on the keyboard to operate the vertical softkeys.
● With SINUMERIK 840D sl and 828D press F10 on the keyboard to display the operating
areas on the horizontal softkey bar.
● With SINUMERIK 808D, press Alt+X to Alt+N on the keyboard to switch between the
operating areas.
