Functional scope of the remote control

NOTICE
Insecure use of the function to transfer files
The VNC protocol used for remote control provides an option as standard for the transfer of
files. This function is not activated per default in the control for security reasons and therefore
cannot be used in AMM.
In contrast to the VNC function, the file transfer in AMM uses the SSH protocol with secure
data encryption. Use the appropriate function in AMM for the file transfer to and from the
control. This applies in particular when the remote control is via networks.

Operating sequence
1. Establish a connection to a SINUMERIK solution line control (see "Establishing a
connection to the control" (Page 21)).
2. To start/end the "remote control", click "Remote control" in the main window menu or click
the "Remote control"
