Size Error Detection Control
To prevent incorrect printed pages, the size of the paper being conveyed is detected using
the Registration Sensor (PC1).
The length of the paper is detected based on the value calculated using the period of time
that begins when the sensor is activated and ends when it is deactivated.
If the paper size specified by the controller does not match the paper size detected by the
Registration Sensor (PC1), the machine displays a corresponding message on the control
panel.
The paper that has caused the size error is processed through the printer. Subsequent
sheets of paper are stopped until the size error is corrected or the job is cancelled.
