Please pay attention to the requirements
that apply to integration and field mounting
kit, see the below list. The information given
in the list must be observed to avoid serious damage
or injury, especially when installing large units.
The frequency converter must be installed vertically.
The frequency converter is cooled by means of air
circulation. For the unit to be able to release its cooling
air, the minimum distance over and below the unit
must be as shown in the illustration below.
To protect the unit from overheating, it must be ensured
that the ambient temperature does not rise above the
max. temperature stated for the frequency converter
and that the 24-hour average temperature is not
exceeded. The max. temperature and 24-hour average
can be seen from the General Technical section.
Derating of the frequency converter is required by
ambient temperature in the range of 45° C - 55° C.
See the section Derating in the Design Guide.
Service Life Time of the frequency converter will
be reduced if no derating is carried out in the
above ambient temperature range.
