Disconnect the signal line
from the terminals of J1 and
JC connectors, respectively.
Is the voltage between
the terminals of J1 and
JC connectors 0V?
NO (Approx. 16V)
Disconnect the signal line
from the external safety
device.
Make measurement of
resistance between two
wires of the signal line using
a multiple meter.
