These stages can be disabled and the incoming transport can be passed through
unmodified.
After the first two stages of processing the incoming transport stream, the outcome
will be routed to the ASI port as a single stream. The transport stream is then routed
to the IP Output port as a single stream or it can be processed through the third
stage for IP output.

Initially the transport stream is recovered either from satellite, IP or ASI for
example.
Stage 1 – A single service or multiple services can be descrambled so that they
are clear on the output transport stream.
Stage 2 – The transport stream can be processed for Service Filtering or PID
Remapping:
-
A single service or more can be filtered on to the output transport stream,
thereby dropping any unwanted services.
-
Alternatively, a single service may be modified so that its service component
PID values are remapped to different PID values on the output transport
stream for whatever purpose.
Stage 3 – The filtered or unfiltered transport stream can then be split across the
two Ethernet Output ports so that services are targeted to different multicasts,
outputting two independent transport streams if desired.
