Description
Low Speed Data is an asynchronous form of data output that is sent via the RS232
data port of the RX8000 where fitted. This feature requires the Remote Data option
card.
The Low Speed Data is supplied from the incoming Transport Stream and can be
sent in a number of different formats. Currently the following are supported:
The data is then sent from the RX8000 as RS232 data at rates between 1200 and
38400 bps.

Description
TTV_F2 Format – This is a proprietary Ericsson format.
DVB Format – In this mode the data is carried as DVB specified asynchronous
data PES packets defined in ISO13818-1.
Piped Format – In this mode the data is supplied as data directly into DVB
transport packets, the only mandate for this is that the packet has an ISO
13818-1 Transport Stream packet structure, the rest is user defined. This
described in ETSI TR 101-202.
