2.5.2 Installing the Reader Heater Harness

Before installing, make sure the host machine is turned off. If it is turned on,
go through the following:
1. Turn off the main power switch.
2. Disconnect the power cable (from the power outlet).
3. Disconnect the power cable.

1) Open the front cover [1].

2) Remove the rear cover [1].
- RS tightening screws (M3 x 8)[2], 4 pcs.

3) Remove the rear-left cover [2].
- RS tightening screws (M3 x 8)[1], 3 pcs.

4) Detach the copyboard cover. (If ADF is equipped, open the ADF)
5) Detach the small cover [1].
- Screw [2], 1 pc.
