Open the bottom left door while gripping the
release handle.

Remove the upper jammed paper.

Close the bottom left door.

If Tray 6 (HCF2 (2000 sheets)) is installed, push the tray in gently until it stops.

Make sure that the machine has stopped, and
open the Transport Unit V1 front door.

• If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces of
paper inside the machine.
• If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces of
paper inside the machine.
• A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the bottom left door is even slightly
open.
• The following describes the jam clearance procedure as the example when the C3 Finisher (optional)
or the C3 Finisher with Booklet Maker (optional) is installed. If the finisher is not installed, proceed to
step 3 to 6.
