Setting
Displays whether a supervisor password is set.
• Not Installed: A password is not set yet.
• Installed: A password is already set.
Displays whether a user password is set.
• Not Installed: A password is not set yet.
• Installed: A password is already set.
Sets a supervisor password. Once the password is set, password entry is required when
BIOS Setup Utility is started up.
Press the [Enter] key to display the password entry window. Enter the supervisor
password. For details, refer to "8.4.2 Security against Unauthorized Use" ( pg.197).

Sets a user password. Once the password is set, password entry is required when you
access the server. This password can be set when [Supervisor Password] has been set.
Press the [Enter] key to display the password entry window. Enter the user password.

Description
Sets a scope of protection with the supervisor password.
Setting [Supervisor Password] is necessary to use this
function.
Sets whether to enable or disable to enter the password
at system startup.
This item can be set when [User Password] has been set.
Sets whether to display the setup message, "<F2> BIOS
Setup / <F12> Boot Menu" at POST when restarting the
system.
Sets whether to write-protect the BIOS Flash ROM.
