6.6.4 How to Remove the Internal Hard Disk Unit

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from
the outlet.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Remove the internal hard disk unit.
While pressing the tab of the internal hard disk unit (1), open the cover (2), and pull out the hard
disk unit (3). To remove the internal hard disk unit, use both hands to pull it out.

Install a new hard disk unit or a dummy unit.
