Description
When ServerView is installed on the OS, this sets
whether to enable the boot monitoring function. When
this function is [Enabled], the system will automatically
restart if the OS startup is stopped for some reason.
The boot monitoring function can also be enabled or
disabled from ServerView.
Note:
If ServerView is not installed on the OS, be sure
to set this item to [Disabled]. If [Enabled] is set,
the server may not operate as intended. For
example, the power may automatically turn off, or
the server may restart.
When starting up the system by using
PRIMERGY Startup Disc or DOS floppy disk, be
sure to disable the boot monitoring function.
If the system starts up with this item enabled, the
server may not operate as intended. For
example, the power may automatically turn off, or
the server may restart.
When setting this function, make sure to read
"ServerView User's Guide" for its specifications,
operation, and settings.
Sets the action to take if the OS does not start up within
the period set in [Timeout Value].
