Chapter 1 Overview
g Onboard LAN (10/100/1000BASE-T) port (
Connect Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables.
For 1000Mbps connection, a category 5 enhanced cable is required.
For 10Mbps/100Mbps connection, a category 5 or higher cable is required.
Indications of LEDs are shown in the table below.

When the button is pressed, the front and rear LEDs are lit blue so that the locations of devices
being maintained can be determined.
i System ID LED
When the system ID LED button is pressed, the LED is lit blue so that the locations of devices
being maintained can be identified.
Also, the [Locate] button of ServerView can be used to light them.
j Inlet
Connect power cables.
k Power supply unit status LED
Depending on the power supply unit status, the LED to be lit is different. Indications of LEDs are
shown in the table below.

m Release tie
When connecting the power cable, pass the cable through this release tie. It prevents the power
cable from being pulled out when the server is pulled forward.
