Remove the covers as needed when
cleaning, checking, or repairing the inside
of the machine. Those covers that may be
detached by merely removing mounting
screws are not omitted from the discussions.
5.18.1 Removing the Front Cover
1) Open the front cover, and remove the
mounting screw [2] of the cover tape
[1].
2) Open the toner cartridge cover [3], and
pull up to remove the hinge pin [4] from
the front cover.
3) Pull off the front cover at an angle.
