Tighten the pin to the prescribed torque pressure.
Torque pressure: 15 ÷ 20 N·m
SUBSTITUTION AND BLEEDING OF THE REAR
BRAKE FLUID
The operation described herewith must be
carried out with the engine cold because of
the nearness of the exhaust tubes that could
cause grave burns.
It is necessary to remove the seats, rear fairings and
H
fuel tank before performing these operations (see
chapter C "Superstructures").
Open the cover of the rear brake fluid reservoir by
removing the two screws (1).
Be careful to not spill the fluid from the
reservoir during these operations.
Brake fluid is extremely corrosive.
Avoid contract with the eyes, skin and nose.
Wash abundantly with water if contact is
accidentally made and consult a doctor.
During the successive operations, avoid
spilling the fluid onto painted surfaces.
Fill the braking system by operating the rear brake
lever.
