If necessary, check/measure thickness of brake
pads.

Attention:
Brake pad thickness must not fall below the minimum
value.
Always replace the brake pads as a complete set.
Minimum pad thickness: ......... 1.0 mm (0.0394 in)
Check colour allocation of brake pads-brake ca-
lipers.

Remove the cover from the brake caliper.
Check the wear indicator (1) to assess brake pad
wear.

If the tip of the wear indicator is in contact with the
opposing brake pad, remove the brake pads and re-
place if necessary.

Examine the brake disc carefully for cracks, da-
mage, distortion or score-marks.
Measure the brake disc with a micrometer.
