Removing/installing throttle-

valve rail
– Take off the right side section of the fairing
( 46.10).

•
Disconnect the hose clip (arrow) for the crank-
case breather from the right, under the frame.
•
Pull off the hose.
– Remove intake air silencer.

[Cruise control] Disconnect plug (4) for switch
of cruise-control system.
•
Disconnect the earth (ground) cable (3) from the
throttle-valve rail.
•
Disconnect plug of throttle-valve
potentiometer (2).
•
Disconnect plug of throttle-valve actuator (1).
•
[Activated charcoal filter] Disconnect breather
hose to timing valve from y-piece.
•
Disconnect the plug (arrow) for the fan.

Note:
It is not necessary to open the cable ties when re-

moving the fuel injection rail.
•
Remove the fuel injection rail and secure it to the
frame together with the wiring harness (
•
Slacken screws securing hose clips at intake
stubs.
•
Remove throttle-valve rail from intake stubs.

Important:
[Cruise control] Do not remove retaining plate (6):
the screws locate the throttle-valve stubs.
•
[Cruise control] Disengage throttle-opener
cable (7) from its pull at the throttle-valve rail.
