Removing/installing cover for

– Remove windscreen (

– Remove inner trim panels (
•
Remove covers (1) of left and right windscreen
holders.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.

Note:
When installing, make sure that the lug (arrow) is
correctly seated.

– Remove covers of left and right windscreen hol-
ders.
– Remove upper section of fairing (
– Remove instrument-panel trim (

Remove retaining rings (3) and remove top
windscreen holders.
•
Remove tensioning springs (4) for left and right
windscreen holders.

When installing, grease left and right windscreen
holders with Staburags NBU 30 PTM.
Lubricant:
Windscreen holders .......... Staburags NBU 30 PTM
X
Mount for windscreen holder.......................... 6 Nm

Unscrew mount (5) for left and right windscreen
holders and remove windscreen holders.
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.
