Attention:
Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with
painted parts of the motorcycle, because brake fluid
destroys paint.

Bleed front wheel circuit (

Attention:
Do not scrape the wheel – mask it off if necessary.

Disconnect brake line (2).

Attention:
Do not damage the brake pads.
–
Remove the brake pads (
•
Remove fasteners (1) from brake caliper (3).
•
Remove the brake caliper carefully.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Pay particular attention to the following:

Attention:
Do not damage the brake pads when installing.
Place brake line at stop of the brake caliper.
•
Replace the sealing rings of the brake line (2).

Fill/bleed wheel circuit (
X
Tightening torque:
Brake caliper to fork tube ............................. 30 Nm
Hollow union bolt for brake line .................... 18 Nm
Bleed screw to brake caliper .......................... 7 Nm

Remove the ABS sensor (

Disconnect the brake line from the brake caliper.

Attention:
Do not damage the brake pads.

Remove the brake pads (

Remove screws (4) securing brake caliper.
•
Remove the brake caliper carefully.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Pay particular attention to the following:
•
Replace the sealing rings of the brake line (5).

Fill/bleed wheel circuit (

Tightening torque:
Brake caliper to rear wheel drive .................. 40 Nm
Hollow union bolt for brake line .................... 18 Nm
Bleed screw to brake caliper ........................ 10 Nm
