Setup Procedure for Bar Code
Step 1 Selecting the Inspection Item


Press an unused inspection item number and press
[Add item.].

Press [Bar code].

Step 2 Teaching
Teaching means to store the region and the bar code in the region as master data for the measurement.

Press [Teach].

Input an image of the bar code to be registered.

Register master data.
Master data can be registered automatically or manually.
Auto:
Master data is registered using actual codes.Input an image of the applicable bar code and press [TEACH] to
read the code and register the result as master data.
Manual:
Up to 32 characters can be registered in a text string.Control codes can also be registered.
Register master data of a text string of up to 32 characters using a software keyboard.
Input a text string and press [TEACH].Check the ASCII table for characters that can be used. Double-byte
characters, single-byte kana characters or control codes cannot be input.
The following characters can be used as wild cards.
*: Wild card of a text string that includes 0 digit.
?: Single-character wild card
