5. 1. Turn off the printer.
2. Connect 1 of the disconnected logic board loads.
3. Turn on the printer and observe the operator panel
display
If the operator panel display works and remains on after
approximately 1 minute, the just connected load is not
the problem.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 (connecting the following, one
at a time) until the failing load is found.

v Printhead ribbon cables
v Sensor cable
v Tractor cable asm.
v AFTA motor
v Paper feed motor
v Carriage motor
v Ribbon motor
5. After all logic board loads have been connected, connect
the power supply fan and the carriage motor fan to P1
and P2 on the power supply board.
Does the operator panel display work after each load is
connected?
Yes
No problem found.
No
Replace the faulty load FRU.
