A 4247 Model V03 operator panel feature, Host Fast Draft, is a new setting that allows application programs
written for earlier printers in DP mode to print in Fast Draft mode without changes to application program. If Host
Fast Draft is enabled (default setting) then DP mode applications print in Fast Draft mode. If Host Fast Draft is
disabled then DP mode applications print in DP mode.

4247 Model V03 differences and commonality with earlier models
Adjustments
All 4247 Model V03 adjustments are common to earlier models with just a few minor differences; for example
carriage belt tension has been increased for the wider 4247 Model V03 carriage belt.
Attachment cards
The 4247 Model V03 attachment interfaces are common with earlier models. Attachment card part numbers are
common between the models V03 and 003 printers. The attachment cards are:
v Parallel attachment (included standard on the main logic board)
v Optional coax SCS attachment card
v Optional coax IPDS attachment card
v Optional twinax SCS attachment card
v Optional twinax IPDS attachment card
