Perform the following procedures first:
1. Remove the Rear cover.
2. Remove the Top cover asm..
Then:
1. Remove the ribbon drive motor and left ribbon cartridge
support (see "Ribbon drive motor" on page 235).
2. Remove the upper feed roller assembly (see Upper feed roller
shaft assembly).
3. Remove the platen assembly (some steps are completed)
(see Platen assembly).
4. Disconnect the sensor cable connector from the logic board.
Note the location and path of the cable.
5. Remove the screws for each of the 3 sensors and remove the
cable assembly.
Installation notes
1. Perform the following:
a. Sensor service checks
b. Standard AFTA service check and adjustment
c. First line printing
