3. a. Remove the rear cover (see Rear cover).
b. Remove the metal cover from the logic board and power
supply.
c. Disconnect the power supply fan from the power supply
board. Power Supply Pins and Connectors:
d. Disconnect the carriage motor fan from the power supply
board.
e. Disconnect the power supply fan from the power supply
board.
f. Disconnect the power supply cable to the logic board.
g. Plug the power cord to the printer, then to the power
source.
h. Turn on the printer.
i. Measure the power supply connector voltages.
Measure between a connector ground pin and the voltage
pins. See Reference table 7, power supply connector pins
and voltages for pins and voltages.
Are the voltage measurements OK?
Yes
Go to step 4.
No
Install a new power supply
(see Power supply).
Run T&D in automatic mode
to verify correct printer
operation (see Running the
test and diagnostic (T&D)
programs).
