c) Example of protocol
The signal shaded below means the most noteworthy one in the procedure.
c-1) Late start
The receiver cannot detect a CM signal while sending the ANSam signal. Therefore,
it sends a DIS signal to indicate V.8 support. The transmitter sends a CI signal that
causes the receiver to send another ANSam signal, which makes the receiver switch
to the V.8 procedure.
