2.6 Network Interface

With the optional GF-1010 (NIC/Relay PBA) installed, this machine can be connected to a
network. While the machine is connected to the network, the functions (PC scanner, PC fac-
simile transmission/reception, and GDI print) of the PC interface and the PCL print (only with
the optional GA-1020 installed) can be used via the network as well as Internet faxing (only with
the optional GD-1040: IFAX PBA) which transmits or receives document data as an attached
file in emailing by using Internet. This section describes the flow of image signals for Internet
fax transmission and reception.
