Use this procedure to adjust the contrast of the Control
Panel display.
[1] Energize the LASER PRINTER.
[2] Press the MAGAZINE DOOR OPEN/CLOSE
SWITCH.
[3] Open the RECEIVE MAGAZINE DOOR.
[4] Open the USER ACCESS DOOR.
[5] De-energize the LASER PRINTER.
[6] Remove the BACK IMAGE UNIT COVER. If
necessary, see the procedure on Page 2–3.
[7] Remove the 4 SCREWS from the TOP COVER.
Note
Do not disconnect connectors.
[8] Lift the front of the TOP COVER and hold it
upright so that the CONTROL PANEL BOARD
is accessible.
[9] Remove the CONTROL PANEL BOARD
COVER and 2 SCREWS.
[10] Energize the LASER PRINTER.
[11] Check that the lighting conditions of the customer
site are the same as under normal operating
conditions.
