Maintenance procedures that should be performed daily include
cleaning the imaging guides, the Document Scanning Array, the feed
and separator rollers, the paper path and vacuuming inside the
scanner/microimager.
To clean the imaging guides, follow the steps below:
IMPORTANT: Do not use any abrasive materials when cleaning the
imaging guides. This includes abrasive cleansers,
commercial solvents, paper towels, or coarse cloths.
1. Open the right-side access door.

IMPORTANT: Use care when handling the imaging guides. Hold
the imaging guides by the green handles only .
2. Locate and grasp the end of the upper imaging guide. Carefully
slide the imaging guide out of its track.
