Three film modes are available: simplex, duplex, and duo.
Simplex — this format allows one image to be exposed across the film
width. A 24:1 ratio is used for this format.
Duplex — this format allows front and back images of the same
document to be exposed (at the same time) across the film width. A
40:1 or 50:1 reduction ratio is used for this format.
Duo — this format allows documents to be filmed across one-half of
the film width. A 40:1 or 50:1 reduction ratio is used for this format.
