Postset code
Trail end code
A-61096 June 1999
Intervention codes precede other information written on film and are
separated from the other information by a slash (/). For example:
*I/12.345.678.9012 indicates that the image address was changed. The
code is followed by the image address.
Postset code is used for duo-format filming only. The Postset code sets
up the retrieval system to search for the image marks of the last image
exposed in the B channel.
Trail End code is used for simplex/duplex format filming to mark the end
of a roll of film.
