2-7. Pattern checking procedure
WarNING :
Be sure to check the pattern shape after the pattern selection or the pattern changing. If the pattern
goes out of the pattern slit in the presser plate, the needle can interfere with the presser plate during
sewing, incurring danger such as needle breakage.
In pror to the drvng of the machne, check that the work clamp pattern matches the sewng pattern.

Step sewng screen
4 Finish the pattern confirmation.
When CANCEL button
screen s returned to the sewng screen. When START button
returned to the sewing screen and the sewing machine starts sewing from the current confirmation
poston.
1 Display the sewing screen.
Dsplay the data nput screen (blue) and press READY key
A . Then the back-lght of LCD changes to green and sewng s
possble. At ths tme, the presser plate moves to the ntermed-
ate standby poston after the orgn retreval (*).
(*) When you press the set ready key after havng turned ON the
power to the machne, the orgn retreval s carred out and the
machne enters the sewng mode. Once ths sequence s com-
pleted, the machne wll not carry out the orgn retreval when t
subsequently enters the sewng mode.
2 Display the step sewing screen.

When the step sewing screen is displayed, the presser
plate comes down. Take care not to allow your fingers to
be caught under the presser plate.
3 carry out sewing.
The sewng shape s dsplayed at the center of the screen. The cur-
rent pont, sewng start poston and sewng end poston are respec-
tvely represented by (pnk crcle), (blue dot) and (pnk dot).
Check the sewng shape usng ONE-STITCH BACKWARD
button
C and ONE-STITCH FORWARD button
If two or more commands ncludng the thread trmmng com-
mend have been entered, the feed wll not move when the ONE-
STITCH BACKWARD/FORWARD button s pressed, but the com-
mand shown on the command dsplay a wll be changed over.

When you keep pressng the ONE-STITCH FORWARD or
BACKWARD button, the movng speed ncreases.

When the COMMAND SEARCH FORWARD button
pressed, the feed automatcally moves to the sewng end pos-
ton. When the COMMAND SEARCH BACKWARD button
F s pressed, the feed automatcally moves to the sewng start

poston.
To stop the feed, press button C , D , E , F , G or H .

When PRESSER PLATE INITIAL POSITION button
pressed, the presser plate moves to the sewng start poston.

When the PRESSER DOWN button
presser plunger goes up or comes down.
