3) Adjust so that the lower end of the needle bar s algned wth the top surface of hook tmng gauge 4 on 2
sde, a clearance of 0.04 to 0. mm s provded between the needle and the blade pont of the nner hook and
the blade pont of the hook meets the center of the needle. Then, tghten three screws that are used to secure
the hook.
4) Attach knfe mountng base C to the bed surface.
At ths tme, pressng the knfe mountng base n the drecton of the arrow to provde a 0.5 mm clearance be-
tween the base and the bed surface. Then, tghten screws 2 and 3 . Fnally, tghten screw 1 .

re-attach t n poston.
2) If the mountng poston of the counter knfe s
moved n the rght (drecton A ) from the standard
mountng poston, length of the thread remanng
after thread trmmng wll be longer than the stan-
dard length by the dstance between the standard
poston.
3) If the mountng poston of the knfe s moved n the
left (drecton B ), length of the thread remanng af-
ter thread trmmng wll be shorter than the standard
length accordngly.
